It's day 3 and I don't want to jinx it, but I'm feeling good. I haven't
used my anti-nausea meds yet. The worst I've felt is ridiculously tired
and a bit of indigestion and acid reflux, but they said that could be
from the steroids. I got a shot yesterday to boost my bone marrow and it
can make you realllly achy but so far nothing. Now, it's not to say it
still can't happen. The next few days are more crucial in terms of pain
and nausea, but so far so good. The only real pain is the healing from the surgery I had for the port that didn't end up going in. I have
stitches and a few bruises. I also look like a heroin addict from all
the times they've poked my arms-
The doc said it takes 16-18 days
for hair to start falling out so I'm assuming around March 8, I'll get
the clippers out and do up a nice Miley Cyrus. I'm actually enjoying
my short hair right now. It's soo easy and it doesn't make me look as
much like a boy as I thought it would.
What's funny is I had a lil
bump behind my ear. Totally normal and common and the doctor checked it
out and said it was nothing, but since Thursday, it has almost totally
gone down so the poison is at least working on something :)
I won't update you guys daily but I thought the first few days would be fascinating for you guys to hear about.
I am open to any questions you may have too, no matter how silly you may think they are.
Now, if you'd pardon me, I need to get back to my very insightful book, Brandi Glanville's "Drinking and Tweeting"
